Milk & Honey Lands was never about creating another candle.

It was born from a search for peace during one of the most challenging seasons of my life.

While walking through my sobriety journey, I found myself searching for healthy, intentional ways to quiet the noise, calm my nervous system, and create moments of stillness. Along the way, I discovered the fascinating neurological connection between scent and the brain. I became captivated by the science of aromatherapy and how thoughtfully chosen fragrances can engage the limbic system—the part of the brain associated with emotion, memory, and mood.

I realized that fragrance could become more than something that simply smelled beautiful. It could become part of a daily rhythm of slowing down, breathing deeply, and being fully present.

For me, those quiet moments often became the beginning of something much deeper.

My faith has always been the foundation of my peace and healing. During my morning quiet time, prayer, and reflection, I found that creating a peaceful environment helped settle the distractions of the day and quiet my mind so I could be more present with God. A candle was never the source of my peace—it simply became a meaningful part of creating space to receive it.

At the same time, my creative life had always been rooted in beauty.

As a professional oil painter in New York City, I developed a deep appreciation for color, texture, and composition. Later, working in interior design consulting and home staging taught me how thoughtfully chosen pieces can completely transform the feeling of a room. I wanted to bring those two worlds together: the science of scent and the beauty of intentional design.

That vision became Milk & Honey Lands.

Today, every candle is hand-poured in small batches using luxurious, clean-burning coconut apricot wax, premium fragrance blends, and carefully selected vessels designed to become part of your home long after the final burn. Some collections are inspired by the neurological benefits of aromatherapy, while others are created to capture the beauty of a season, a memory, or a meaningful moment. Every fragrance, however, begins with intention.
